Defence Logistics Solutions Architects
Description of job:
We have a number of opportunities for highly experienced Solutions Architects working on a number of UK Defence programs. A wide range of IT skills and experience are required along with significant defence domain knowledge.
Capabilities:
- Ability to convert the requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created
- Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders
- Familiarity with system and software engineering processes
- Ability to adapt modelling approach to suit tight timescales and bid/capture situations
- Understanding of defence logistics processes and information flows
- Ability to model the role of information systems within a broader defence picture
- MODAF knowledge is essential for some roles
Experience:
- Significant high level experience of developing IT architectural solutions in large complex programmes.
- Experience of defence logistics environment and systems (e.g. LITS, WRAM, USAS, MJDI) is absolutely essential.
- Experience of using MODAF is required for some roles
