Maintaining the right level of skills across the organisation is key to it being able to compete in the ever changing business landscape. Harmonic recognises this and has embedded into our delivery services the ability to undertake skills transfer during assignments with our customers, whenever required.

Skills transfer can be integrated into our contractual commitment to the customer. A skills transfer programme is developed as part of the pre-contract discussion.

Mechanisms adopted during the skill transfer phase are:

  • Shadowing where both Harmonic and the Customer undertake an activity transitioning from a Harmonic-led to a Customer-led activity
  • Coaching, where key objectives are established within a programme for the Customer representative to achieve, through direction and review by the Harmonic coach
  • Suggestions on formal training for the Customer representative
  • Formal practical hands-on activity
